Students in Introduction to Biology were challenged with modeling the process of photosynthesis within the leaf of a plant to uncover the association between the reactants and products and how the leaf structures figure into this vital process. 2 March 2018 - Superhero Challenge Projects.
In the homeostasis unit, students were challenged to investigate all the aspects of the biology of superheroes of their choosing, or develop one of their own, to exhibit the knowledge they gained on the topic by applying it to how a superhero would theoretically, yet still grounded in real science, be able to survive the external environments they are subjected to. Here are some great examples!
